Between 1985 and 2017 I earned my living as a faculty member at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. For the most part I taught part-time, officially retiring with the title Faculty Member Emerita in 2008. In the nine years that followed I taught as the College requested which turned out to be most years.
The part-time status at Evergreen enabled me to carry out a significant research agenda centered on peace-making, postwar memory and the repair of the injuries of war and violence. After 2001, this research often revolved around issues and relationships in NE Asia –> Japan, North and South Korea and China. Much of this work was presented at conferences and/or published as contributions to multi-author edited volumes. The work is now visible at the Evergreen State College. I have tried to put in a live link but it does not seem to work. It does work if you copy and paste this URL: http://blogs.evergreen.edu/meyerknh/

I have my version of Firefox set to automatically to https but safari takes it to the correct site.
